Description
A Bakewell tart is an English confection consisting of a shortcrust pastry shell beneath layers of jam, frangipane, and a topping of flaked almonds.
Half-a-dozen miniature Bakewell tarts in a metal baking pan, or bun tin, iced in white with a dab of cherry jam in the centre. This fullscale product measures ~ 1″ long x 3/4″ wide x 1/4″ tall. These delightful full scale teatime treats are handcrafted by UK miniaturist Charlotte Willmott of Mouse House.
